Blakemans Family host the annual Family Fun Day 2024 to raise money for Cancer Research UK
On Saturday 29th June, Blakemans hosted their annual Family Fun Day where everyone was invited with their families and friends to join in with the fun filled activities and to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Blakemans pride themselves on being a family run business and family is at the heart of the success in which they consider all employees key to that success, it was a great way to give back, get everybody together and to have fun!
Organised by the Big Improvement Group (BIG), the day consisted of prize-winning competitions such as a cake competition, penalty shootouts, football darts, raffles and tombola for all age groups. Along with free entertainment for the children subsidies by Blakemans including multiple bouncy castles, stunning face painting and impressive balloon modelling to take home. The highlight of the day was the eventful competitive teams games which consisted of a relay sack race, football darts, tug of war, wasteful water and sausage swap in which the stakes were high with one days holiday up for grabs for the winning team! There were also huge prize donations very kindly donated by our amazing suppliers and company friends that made the raffle extremely exciting so a big thank you for their generosity and to everyone who helped to make the day so special and raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Congratulations to all the winners that took part in the competitions, raffle and tombolas and well done to everyone who contributed to raising a grand total of £2720 for Cancer Research UK!
