Blakemans invited to celebrate 25 years of Greggs Breakfast Clubs
Blakemans head to Newcastle-upon-Tyne to celebrate 25 years of Greggs Breakfast Clubs!
The Greggs Foundation opened their first Breakfast Club in 1999, they have grown the programme to reach over 1000 schools, which is tens of thousands primary school children every day. Every school is provided with fresh bread from their nearest Greggs and a grant to support running costs and breakfast choices to suit the pupils.
As a partner in The Greggs Foundation, Blakemans supports three local schools in Stoke-on Trent and funds their Breakfast Clubs each year. This is a great way of giving back to the local community and with being in the food industry Blakemans know just how important breakfast is to these children. Blakemans were invited to the 25-year celebration which was held at The Boiler Shop, this was the time for Greggs to show their thanks and appreciation to all the people who make Breakfast Clubs possible and keep them updated with their achievements and how they are progressing.
