Blakemans Hits The Road
The team from Blakemans packed up and travelled to Edinburgh on the 3rd of march to showcase their products at Henry Colbecks “What’s Cooking? 2024” exhibition.
The annual exhibition is a showcase of the many products available to purchase at Henry Colbeck; a family owned independent supplier to the fish and chip industry in the north-east of England and Scotland for over 130 years.
Anna, Kath, Julie and Kate from Blakemans showcased a range of own brand and 42nd street sausages alongside battered stuffing balls and pigs in blankets for visitors to taste. On the event Anna, Marketing Manager, said;
“The event was a great success, there were lots of visitors throughout the day and we had a lot of excellent feedback from our lovely customers.
The Colbeck team and their colleagues from across the Q group were super helpful and friendly, which makes for a great atmosphere. The stars of the show for us on the day were of course the battered Pigs and stuffing, which went down a treat with visitors and standees alike. We’re looking forward to next year’s show already!”
