Storage Advice

Frozen Products:

The recommended storage instructions for all of our frozen products are as follows: Store at -18°c or below. Once defrosted, do not re-freeze.

Each of our frozen products has been designed to cook or regenerate directly from the freezer. We have done this to help you to only take out what you need, when you need (to reduce waste). Cooking these products from frozen will always give you the best results.

If you do wish to remove our products from the freezer and cook them from chilled, we advise that you defrost them thoroughly prior to cooking to ensure that the product is evenly cooked throughout. We also recommend that you pat dry the outer skin before cooking (especially when deep frying), doing this will significantly reduce the risk of the skins splitting during the cook.

Best practice for the storage of our frozen products is to place them directly in the freezer upon delivery. Storing them within the box is highly recommended as the box contains all of the information you may need including: the best before date, allergen information, our contact details and traceability information. Storing within the box also helps to prevent freezer burn from occurring, keeping your products in tip top condition.

Chilled Products:

The recommended storage instructions for all of our chilled products are as follows: Store between 0°c and 5°c. Suitable for home freezing.

Each of our chilled products is specifically designed to cook directly from the fridge, but they are suitable for freezing where required. If you do need to freeze any of our chilled products then we would recommend that you do so on the day of purchase, defrost them thoroughly before cooking to ensure that the product is evenly cooked throughout and consume them within 24 hours.
