T.Quality raise £10,001 for UK charities in just 4 weeks
On hearing about UK charities struggling to raise funds through an incredibly difficult 2020, T.Quality felt that that they must step in to help and Blakemans were only too happy to support them.
2020 was an incredibly difficult year across the board, including our fantastic charities in the UK who have found that they have had to shut their shops for much of the year and have not been able to rely upon events for funds as they usually would. It has been thanks to many people and businesses thinking outside the box to create new fund raisers that some of these charities have an income.
Upon hearing the plight of charities, T.Quality came up with a month long fund raiser where a product section from their catalogue was chosen each week and for every unit that they sold within the period £1 was donated to the charity of choice. They set the bar pretty high with a target of £10,000. James Morris, head of business development for Blakemans said;
“We are always keen to support our loyal, long-standing customers where we can and when we heard about the drive, the target sum and the four amazing charities it was a no brainer, we simply had to get involved. We vowed to match T.Quality with their donation of 50p per box sold”
We were all set for week 3 of the four week charity run, with the funds going to The British Heart Foundation and were delighted when the final figures showed that the drive had raised a whopping £3,688 in just one week.
The team at T.Quality pulled out all the stops and on Christmas Eve announced an incredible total of £10,001 raised for a selection of UK charities.
